THIS YEAR CELEBRATING 100 YEARS OF THE MARTHAGUY PICNIC RACES

The next meeting of the Marthaguy Picnic Races Committee will be held on Tuesday 8th July 2008 at the Sundowner Motel in Quambone at 7pm. All welcome. RSVP Jane Atkinson on (02) 6833 2026 or jane.atkinson@hotmail.com

The Races did not occur in 2007 due to the outbreak of Equine Influenza shortly before the scheduled race day.

2007 Sponsors have kindly agreed to ‘roll over’ their sponsorship to the 2008 event. If you are interested in becoming a sponsor please contact the Secretary Treasurer below or download the form here.

The day is always very social event with attractions for all the family. Full bar and race facilities will be available on the day. This year is strictly no BYO alcohol. A free jumping castle will also be present on the day to entertain the children as well as a lolly drop.

Fashions on the field will no doubt be highly contested with prizes being awarded for the best dressed woman, best dressed man, best hat and best dressed couple. There will be a Free luncheon sponsored by Moody’s Motors between 12 and 2pm & live evening entertainment . So bring along your family and friends to experience a very welcoming country race meet. Camping is free and breakfast will be available the next morning.
