Text Box: Rural landowners across the nation are increasingly evaluating the option to diversify their Agri-business.
On average, each month more than 100 Farm and Nature Tourism on your Property self-assessment tools are downloaded from the STCRC site. This easy to use tool guides farmers and rural landowners to make a preliminary assessment about whether their region and their property have the attributes for a successful tourism venture. After taking this initial assessment landowners can register their interest to enter a business development program run jointly through the Australian Regional Tourism Research Centre (ARTRC) and Sustainable Tourism CRC. The workshops make a more thorough assessment of on-farm Agri-tourism concepts and assists participants develop their ideas into a full business plan.
