Text Box: The 16th Annual NSW Women's Gathering will be held in Coonamble in late 2008. Women from all over NSW will gather on a Friday evening and depart after lunch on the Sunday after a time of entertainment & workshops. The Women's Gathering is held each year in a different regional centre in NSW. It is expected that the event will attract several hundred women to Coonamble and the surrounding area and the economic impact will be significant. Click here for media release

Text Box: Outback Arts will host a free hands-on visual arts workshop in Coonamble on 25th and 26th July.  The 2 day workshop will cover painting techniques and the ‘business’ of indigenous art.  Learn about Painting technique, selecting materials, selling your art, promoting your work, approaching outlets and documenting work.
