Text Box: The 16th Annual NSW Women's Gathering will be held in Coonamble in late 2008. Women from all over NSW will gather on a Friday evening and depart after lunch on the Sunday after a time of entertainment & workshops. The Women's Gathering is held each year in a different regional centre in NSW. It is expected that the event will attract several hundred women to Coonamble and the surrounding area and the economic impact will be significant. The 2 day workshop will cover painting techniques and the ‘business’ of indigenous art.
