Text Box: The Coonamble Shire Tourism Task Force  (CSTTF) has been formed to involve community and industry in the development of tourism in the shire.   The task force is so named as unlike a traditional committee the task force will only meet when necessary to progress specific projects.  The Tourism Development Manager will provide the secretariat, distribute a monthly newsletter and form teams and  team leaders as required. Forthcoming projects in 2006 include Heritage Brochure, Shire & Town entry signs, media visits, new merchandise, and new Shire tourism brochure   Membership of the task force is open to all. Text Box: Coonamble has some significant historic buildings. One of the first projects of the Tourism Task Force will be to revise the Coonamble Heritage Walk Brochure so it can be reprinted and distributed to visitors.  The original brochure was prepared by the Coonamble Streets Ahead Committee.  The major task of this team will be to provide comment on the draft.
