Text Box: Many people in town have already sampled the cuisine available from our newest chef in town, Ashley Thorpe. Now located at the Cypress Motel, Ashley arrived in town on the 1st November last year. Trained at the Grand Hyatt in Melbourne he has also worked at the Six Star Four Seasons in New York and was Executive Chef at Fitzroy Island in QLD. Text Box: The Shire recently had a visit from the Tourism Attraction Signposting Accreditation Committee (TASAC) which is a joint RTA and Tourism NSW committee. On their way to a meeting in Coonabarabran the committee made a site visit to the shire to assess the current standard of signage. There were some minor issues identified with welcome and directional signage but the TASAC committee did have some concerns over business signage in the main street.
