The WASTE TO ART & design Competition is a Community Art competition and exhibition open to all local residents who reside in the NetWaste region. It celebrates the reuse and recycling of waste in our communities through art, sculpture and craft.

The Competition will include categories to challenge and stimulate the imagination.

This competition gives aspiring and professional artists the chance to explore and share their “waste reduction message”. It also provides a wonderful opportunity for the entire Coonamble Shire Council community to showcase their creativity.   The competition will be judged on 14th March by a panel of talented locals.

 The exhibition will be on display in McCullough Hall in the Coonamble Shire Administration building.  Everyone is welcome to attend the official Opening of the Exhibition that will be on Friday, 14th March 2008, at 7.30pm.  The exhibition will be open to the public until 27th March during office hours.
