Annette is an embroiderer of some renown. Some of her 3D native embroidery enjoys a position in the Coonamble Shire Chambers. She has also published 2 books and conducted workshops.

Annette uses Brazilian-style embroidery to create beautiful Australian flowers. Rayon threads became popular in Brazil and USA in the sixties, and Annette has embroidered in vivid colours and shades which lend themselves so well to Australian flora.

Annette Rich has produced a set of stunning botanical-style projects including 'The Waratah', 'Flannel Flower', 'The Three Grevilleas' and many more. She has used a range of techniques to capture the beauty of these flowers.

She was one of the craftspeople invited to contribute to the two volume editions called "Masterworks" which was published to celebrate Arts and Craft Movement in Australia for the new millennium. Annette has also completed commission works.
