Parks
Picturesque Lions Park is situated on the banks of the Castlereagh,
off Bourbah St. It is an ideal rest or picnic spot for the weary
traveller. Memorial Park, at the western end of Yalcogrin St, has an
old steam train and children's play area.

Timber
Mill
The Gular Cypress Mill, fed by the cypress pine of the Pilliga
Scrub, is on Coonamble St, at the southern approach to town. If you
wish to have a look around, call at the office. It is the largest
private employer in town.

Gulargambone
CDEP
This local branch of the Aboriginal corporation is supplying
training in the production of timber furniture to about 60 local
Aborigines. It is located in the large red building at Yalcogrin and
Kirban Sts.

Yabbie
Farm
Gular Crays is located at the western end of Armatree St (keep going
when you reach the dirt road). It produces over 1 million yabbies a
year.
